Who is eligible for DIGINN’s IP Assessment?
Cypriot-based small and medium enterprises (SMEs) qualify for this specialized IP assessment service.
For the avoidance of doubt, SMEs include enterprises which employ fewer than 250 persons, and which have an annual turnover not exceeding EUR 50 million, and/or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding EUR 43 million.
What does the assessment cover?
The IP Assessment shall aim to reflect the following from a Cyprus legal perspective:
- What types of IP assets the company appears to own.
- Whether the company has any registrations in force or in progress to protect its IP assets.
- Whether there may be a basis for unregistered or unprotected IP assets of the company to be safeguarded.
- Whether any potential conflicts may be identified between intended trademarks of the company with existing registered rights in Cyprus or which include Cyprus as a country of designation.
